Human Normal Immunoglobulin (IVIG)

Human Normal Immunoglobulin (IVIG) is a sterile solution of purified human antibodies (immunoglobulin G or IgG) obtained from carefully screened human plasma donors. It is used to replace missing antibodies in patients with primary or secondary immunodeficiency disorders and to help regulate the immune system in certain autoimmune and inflammatory diseases. IVIG works by providing passive immunity, helping the body fight infections, and reducing abnormal immune responses. It is administered by intravenous infusion under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional in a hospital or specialized infusion center.
